The Outlands is a somewhat vague term that refers to the outermost region of Focus, comprising at least the Outer Belt. If one defines the Outlands as that region where Outlander is spoken, the planet Moonlitter would also be included, though this is rarely meant when the word is used.

Instead, at its largest, the term is used to describe the region beyond the orbit of Moonlitter's furthest moon. Narrower definitions refer only the part of the outer belt controlled by Partisan Territory.
