Two buttons that appear to be different colors under one spectrum may both look gray in another.&lt;br /&gt;

The same logic applies to flags and other symbols meant to be seen at a distance. Visual symbols are used to identify different groups just as on Earth, but a larger emphasis is placed on giving the symbol a unique silhouette. There are exceptions, like the arch added to to the [[Bright Way|Claravian]] Star and Gear by the [[Pious Dissolutionists]].&lt;br /&gt;
