Yih (/jɪ(h)/) is the home world of the yinrih and the only other planet besides Earth known to have given rise to life. It has an axial tilt of 30 degrees, an orbital period of about 1.4 Earth years, a rotation period of about 24.38 Earth hours, and a surface gravity of 0.88g. It orbits Focus at a distance of 1.3 AU, and has a radius of 1.01 Earth radii.
Yih's most notable feature is its ring, which causes darker winter days at mid-latitudes and brighter summer nights.
Life on Yih has settled into the same niches as life on Earth, but Yih life is not based on DNA, but rather glycol nucleic acid (GNA).
