Flags and political symbols
Because yinrih color perception is not fixed, color isn't used as often when immediate recognition or differentiation at a glance is desired. Two buttons that appear to be different colors under one spectrum may both look gray in another.
The same logic applies to flags and other symbols meant to be seen at a distance. Visual symbols are used to identify different groups just as on Earth, but a larger emphasis is placed on giving the symbol a unique silhouette. There are exceptions, like the arch added to to the Claravian Star and Gear by the Pious Dissolutionists.
