The Outlands

The Outlands is a somewhat vague term that refers to the outermost region of Focus, comprising at least the Outer Belt. If one defines the Outlands as that region where Outlander is spoken, the planet Moonlitter would also be included.

The citizens of Partisan Territory refer to the polity as The Outlands, and to themselves as Outlanders. Moonlitter objects to this usage, since the term historically implies a larger territory than the Partisans currently control.
