Mass router

From The Lonely Galaxy Wiki

For an explanation of the mass router in narrative form, see The Mass Router.

A mass router is a means for transporting matter instantly between two arbitrary points in space. It does this by shunting a bubble of realspace containing the matter to be routed into the underlay, dividing that bubble into smaller bubbles that can take different paths to reach the same destination. These bubbles appear discontinuous when observed from within the underlay, but remain continuous from an observer within one of the bubbles.
